1.13.1. Soft Target Protection for EDUCATIONAL institutions – emergency crisis, object and personal safety management workshop

A unique B-rdy workshop and proprietary methodology for education and active training in the protection of soft targets, with a specific focus on educational institutions. Our workshop reflects current trends and methods in object and personal security. The issue of crisis situations in society is growing. Verbal aggression, threats, assaults, cyberbullying, sexual assaults, drug offenses, and even the worst-case scenario of an active shooter in society are on the rise. In 2017, we explained at length that it is not a question of if, but when a similar situation will occur in the Czech Republic. To date, we have trained more than a thousand school and university employees as part of our unique workshop focused directly on the topic and resolution of extraordinary crisis situations.

The primary goal of the workshop is to raise awareness of the existence of risks and to familiarize participants with a methodical approach to perceiving risk and crisis situations and planning their resolution in the area of personal safety management, i.e., learning the basics of safe behavior and resolving common and extraordinary conflict situations and preventing the escalation of conflicts.

The workshop will be theoretical and, above all, practical in nature. The aim will be to acquire all procedures and habits in a practical way, using realistic model scenarios with a focus on conflict prevention, de-escalation of tension, crisis communication, and ensuring safety during and after a conflict.

This workshop is designed to prepare your stuff for those critical moments. Through a combination of clear instruction, structured decision-making frameworks, and realistic scenario-based training, participants learn how to recognize early warning signs, de-escalate conflict where possible, and respond with confidence when safety is at risk.

We focus on simple, proven, and transferable skills — practical communication, physical response options, and coordinated teamwork suitable for real-world institutional environments.

• Management of educational facility security
• Incidents and conflicts in schools and preventing their occurrence

• Procedures and safety protocols – 7P, KRIZE, Run-Hide-Fight, ALICE
