These Terms and Conditions govern the registration, participation, attendance, and purchase of products and services provided by B-rdy [be ready] s.r.o., Company ID No. 06224121 (hereinafter referred to as “B-rdy”, “Company”, “Organizer”, “we”, or “us”).

By registering for any training activity, event, competition, workshop, educational program, purchasing products from Gearshop, or otherwise using the services of B-rdy, the customer or participant acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

Training activities, competitions, educational programs and retail operations are organized and operated by B-rdy [be ready] s.r.o.

2. DEFINITIONS

“Participant” or “Student” means any individual attending a course, workshop, seminar, training session, competition, or event organized by B-rdy.

“Customer” means any person purchasing goods or services from B-rdy.

“Course” or “Workshop” or “Lesson” means any educational, tactical, firearms, outdoor, survival, medical, security, law enforcement, military, sporting, or related training activity.

“Training Materials” means all presentations, manuals, videos, documents, procedures, drills, methodologies, diagrams, educational content, and instructional materials provided by B-rdy.

3. REGISTRATION

Registration becomes valid only after:

  • Submission of a registration request;
  • Acceptance by B-rdy;
  • Payment of the applicable fee unless otherwise agreed.

B-rdy reserves the right to refuse any registration without providing a reason.

4. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

Participants must:

  • Comply with all applicable laws;
  • Meet any legal requirements associated with the selected course;
  • Follow instructions issued by instructors and staff;
  • Behave responsibly and professionally.

Participants attending firearms-related activities are solely responsible for possessing any permits, licenses, authorizations, or qualifications required by law.

5. HEALTH AND FITNESS

Participants declare that they are physically and mentally capable of participating in the selected activity.

Participants shall immediately inform instructors about any medical condition that may affect safe participation.

Participation under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other impairing substances is strictly prohibited.

B-rdy reserves the right to remove any participant suspected of impairment without refund.

6. SAFETY RULES

Safety is the highest priority during all activities.

Participants shall strictly follow all instructions issued by instructors, range officers, safety officers, and event staff.

B-rdy reserves the right to remove any participant who:

  • Violates safety rules;
  • Creates an unsafe condition;
  • Acts recklessly;
  • Fails to comply with instructions.

No refund shall be granted in such cases.

7. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

The Participant acknowledges that training activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Firearms handling;
  • Tactical exercises;
  • Force-on-force training;
  • Simunition or marking cartridges;
  • Outdoor activities;
  • Physical exertion;
  • Environmental hazards;
  • Vehicle-related activities.

Participation is voluntary and at the Participant’s own risk.

8. LIABILITY WAIVER

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, B-rdy shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury;
  • Property damage;
  • Loss of personal equipment;
  • Financial loss;
  • Indirect or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

9. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA CONSENT

Participants acknowledge that photographs, videos, and audio recordings may be created during courses and events.

By participating, the Participant grants B-rdy a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use such media for:

  • Marketing;
  • Social media;
  • Educational materials;
  • Websites;
  • Promotional purposes.

Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional materials must notify B-rdy in writing before the event.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, COPYRIGHT AND KNOW-HOW

All Training Materials, methodologies, concepts, instructional systems, lesson structures, training procedures, tactical solutions, educational content, drills, exercises, and know-how remain the exclusive intellectual property of B-rdy [be ready] s.r.o.

All information taught during any B-rdy course, workshop, seminar, competition, or educational activity is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Participation in a course does not transfer any intellectual property rights to the Participant.

The Participant agrees that:

  • All content is provided solely for personal education and development;
  • No content may be copied, distributed, reproduced, published, recorded, translated, modified, or commercially exploited without prior written consent of B-rdy;
  • B-rdy methodologies, procedures, lesson structures, and instructional concepts may not be presented as the Participant’s own work;
  • B-rdy training systems, methodologies, educational frameworks, tactical procedures, and instructional concepts constitute proprietary know-how and trade secrets of B-rdy.

All information, knowledge, methodologies, concepts, techniques, procedures, instructional content, presentations, manuals, videos, handouts, diagrams, training drills, educational materials, and other content provided, demonstrated, or taught during any B-rdy course, workshop, seminar, competition, or training activity are protected by applicable copyright laws and intellectual property regulations.

All such content constitutes the exclusive intellectual property of B-rdy [be ready] s.r.o., unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Participation in a course does not grant the Participant any ownership rights, licenses, or rights of commercial exploitation regarding such content.

The Participant acknowledges and agrees that:

a) all educational content received during training is provided solely for the Participant’s personal development and practical application;

b) any reproduction, publication, distribution, modification, translation, adaptation, recording, transmission, resale, sublicensing, or commercial use of the content, in whole or in part, requires the prior written consent of B-rdy;

c) the Participant shall not present B-rdy methodologies, procedures, lesson structures, training concepts, or instructional materials as their own work or original creation;

d) whenever the Participant publicly references, teaches, reproduces, presents, cites, publishes, or otherwise shares information, methodologies, concepts, or materials substantially derived from B-rdy training, the Participant shall provide appropriate attribution to B-rdy [be ready] s.r.o. as the original source of such information;

e) attribution shall be made in a reasonable and visible manner appropriate to the medium used, including but not limited to presentations, social media content, articles, publications, lectures, seminars, instructional videos, podcasts, and training activities;

f) the Participant shall not remove, alter, obscure, or conceal any copyright notices, trademarks, logos, authorship information, or proprietary markings associated with B-rdy materials;

g) the Participant shall not create derivative training programs, instructor certifications, educational products, or commercial training services based substantially on B-rdy content without the prior written authorization of B-rdy.

The obligations contained in this section shall survive indefinitely following completion of any course or termination of the Participant’s relationship with B-rdy.

Any unauthorized use of B-rdy intellectual property may result in legal action, including claims for injunctive relief, damages, and reimbursement of legal costs to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

The Participant expressly acknowledges that B-rdy training methodologies, instructional systems, lesson structures, course curricula, training sequences, tactical procedures, and educational frameworks constitute proprietary know-how and trade secrets of B-rdy [be ready] s.r.o., regardless of whether such elements are separately protected by copyright law.

11. ATTRIBUTION OF SOURCE

The Participant acknowledges that information, methodologies, procedures, concepts, and instructional systems obtained through B-rdy training remain associated with B-rdy as the original source.

Whenever a Participant publicly references, teaches, presents, publishes, reproduces, or shares information substantially derived from B-rdy training, the Participant agrees to provide reasonable attribution to:

“B-rdy [be ready] s.r.o.”

This obligation applies to:

  • Social media;
  • Presentations;
  • Publications;
  • Seminars;
  • Training activities;
  • Educational videos;
  • Podcasts;
  • Articles;
  • Commercial and non-commercial educational activities.

The Participant shall not claim authorship or original ownership of methodologies originating from B-rdy.

12. CONFIDENTIALITY

Participants agree not to disclose any non-public information relating to:

  • Internal methodologies;
  • Instructor materials;
  • Tactical procedures;
  • Educational systems;
  • Proprietary training concepts.

These obligations survive indefinitely after completion of the training.

13. RECORDING POLICY

Audio recording, video recording, photography, live streaming, or any other form of recording during training is prohibited unless explicitly authorized by B-rdy.

Unauthorized recordings may be required to be deleted immediately.

14. PAYMENT TERMS

Course fees must be paid according to the instructions provided during registration.

Failure to pay may result in cancellation of the registration.

15. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Participant Cancellation

  • More than 30 days before the event: 100% refund.
  • 15–30 days before the event: 50% refund.
  • Less than 15 days before the event: no refund.

A replacement participant may be accepted subject to approval by B-rdy.

Organizer Cancellation

B-rdy reserves the right to modify, postpone, relocate, or cancel an event due to operational, safety, weather, staffing, or force majeure reasons.

Participants may receive:

  • A replacement date;
  • Credit for future activities;
  • Refund of paid fees.

16. FORCE MAJEURE

B-rdy shall not be liable for cancellation, postponement, or modification of activities caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters;
  • War;
  • Terrorism;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Epidemics;
  • Transportation disruptions;
  • Venue closures.

17. EQUIPMENT

Participants are responsible for ensuring that all equipment brought to a course is:

  • Safe;
  • Legal;
  • Functional;
  • Appropriate for the activity.

B-rdy may prohibit the use of any equipment deemed unsafe.

18. CODE OF CONDUCT

Participants shall behave professionally and respectfully.

Harassment, discrimination, aggression, threats, intoxication, unsafe conduct, or disruptive behavior may result in immediate removal without refund.

19. DATA PROTECTION

Personal data shall be processed in accordance with applicable laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

20. GEARSHOP – RETAIL SALES TERMS

Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

B-rdy reserves the right to modify or discontinue products without prior notice.

Pricing

All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.

B-rdy reserves the right to correct obvious pricing errors.

Payment

Accepted payment methods are displayed at the point of sale.

Ownership transfers upon full payment.

Warranty and Consumer Rights

Consumer rights arising from defective goods shall be governed by Czech and European Union law.

Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights.

Returns and Exchanges

Purchases made in the physical store are governed by applicable Czech consumer legislation.

Customers acknowledge that purchases made in a physical retail location generally do not provide a statutory right of withdrawal without reason.

Tactical and Professional Equipment

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring legal possession, transport, use, and storage of purchased products.

B-rdy assumes no liability for misuse.

Restricted Products

B-rdy may verify age, identity, permits, licenses, or other legal qualifications before completing a sale.

B-rdy reserves the right to refuse any sale.

21. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF BRANDED PRODUCTS

All B-rdy and Gearshop trademarks, logos, patches, insignia, graphics, merchandise, educational materials, course designs, promotional materials, photographs, videos, and custom products remain protected by intellectual property laws.

Unauthorized reproduction, manufacturing, resale, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited.

22. COMPLAINTS

Complaints regarding products or services may be submitted:

  • In person;
  • By e-mail;
  • Through official contact channels published by B-rdy.

Complaints shall be processed in accordance with applicable law.

23. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

24. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The parties shall attempt to resolve disputes amicably.

If no resolution is reached, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Czech Republic.

25. FINAL PROVISIONS

B-rdy reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.

The version published on the Company’s website at the time of registration, purchase, or participation shall apply.

By registering for a course, participating in an event, or purchasing products from Gearshop, the Participant or Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
