2.5.1. B-rdy Surveillance Basics Course

B-rdy Surveillance Basics Course is the unique Tier 2 course focused on the basics of surveillance, information collection and observation of individuals in an urban environment. The course is suitable for teams of 6-15 people. After an introduction to theory and the legislative framework, participants will learn about mission planning methods, the basics of surveillance on foot and by car, the use of technology, and obtaining information through networks. The course focuses primarily on team communication, the need for improvisation, solving model situations, and the use of costumes.

The Basic level of the course is followed by an advanced level (2.5.2) focused on counter-surveillance.

Each course is designed specifically for the registered team or teams and contains a lot of real based scenarios including car-transfers to a different Czech republic cities, real locations like cinema, pool, disco clubs and many others.

TIER 2 COURSE

This Course is a Tier 2 course in the B-rdy hierarchy. In our concept, it is not an entertainment course, but comprehensive training based on a methodical approach that builds on and follows up on the skills acquired at the Tier 1 level, primarily in the areas of B-rdy Weapons Handling and Shooting, Dark Environment Individual Courses, B-rdy Performance Trainings, and other selected skills. Tier 2 courses are typically organized for entire registered teams, primarily from the armed forces. At the request from graduates of our B-rdy Weapons Handling & Shooting courses, we can offer several classes and lessons to form a functioning team.

However, there is nothing to worry about, we will proceed step by step and from the basics according to the group’s abilities and skills.

• Sufficient sets of clothing, including shoes and accessories (comfortable casual wear, formal wear, sportswear, glasses, wigs, etc.). The “greyman concept” is good for start.
• Various types of luggage (bag, backpacks, sport)
• Required individual equipment: Smartphone with Signal and Mapy.cz apps installed (ideally “clean” with a disposable SIM card), laptop, UHF/VHF radio + headset (we can lend you one)
• Recommended equipment: Camera with various lenses, binoculars or spotting scope, thermal imaging camera, night vision goggles, mobile phone holder for the car, voice recorder, drone, smart watch, GPS trackers, etc.
• Sleeping equipment
• Empty large PET bottle (wide neck according to the participant’s personal equipment:)
• Notebook + writing tools
• Each pair has their own vehicle
• Swimsuit

We can provide a training weapons (FX, airsoft) and comms for your team.

This course is suitable for both the general public (civilian version) and armed forces. We are also able to create an individual terms for foreign students.
