After the Velvet Revolution, the Czech Army needed to implement a new hand-to-hand combat system in line with Western doctrine. The system chosen was the Korean MUSADO, modified in Germany to Musado MCS (Military Combat System). One of the first civilian groups was formed in Rokycany. Although it did not last long, it influenced the lives of all who attended it in the early 1990s. Although the members went their separate ways, and some even achieved the rank of General, the mindset and desire to be prepared remained with all of us. Through combat sports and arts, airsoft maneuvers, tactical and survival exercises, orienteering competitions, and tramping, most future members of B-rdy came to acquire shooting skills and a “military” approach to life.
