Martin, alias LEGi, was born in Pilsen in 1974 and has been working with B-rdy for many years on survival and self-defense courses. He works for the Pilsen Municipal Police in the city center, where he deals with a variety of situations involving offences and crimes on a daily basis.
Incidentally, you may have heard about the case in 2020 where a family was attacked by an enraged staffordshire bull terrier while out walking (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mexFFbXNpY8). Martin was responsible for the correct use of a warning shot fired in a safe direction in an extreme emergency.
If anyone is a “lifelong” prepper, woodsman, and lover of the Brdy Mountains, it is definitely LEGi.
“From an early age, I was drawn outdoors, seeking adventure in nature. I learned from old tramps and, more generally, from the older generation. I read a lot and pieced together bits of information. In July 1993, I joined VÚ 5169 in Chrudim as a “private”. My time with this unit literally kicked me into further study. Since then, I have been interested in everything related to spending time in nature, whether it be the classic approach or the military style. Until 2015, I was part of Stan Gazdík’s Operational Defense Group (now IAODG – International Association Operational Defense Group), who spent 15 years in the Foreign Legion, where I practiced and trained professional self-defense and worked hard on myself. Today, I apply the experience I have gained to dealing with a variety of situations involving criminals. I am happy to share my knowledge with you, but I am also happy to learn something new.
